Using the Nike ID with your Treadmill Workouts!

If you haven’t heard of the Nike ID, this can make your treadmill & fitness workouts much more rewarding.  In just a matter of minutes you can begin to track and measure the results of your workouts.  The Nike ID comes in 2 pieces, one that inserts into the bottom of your shoe and the other is an adapter that inserts into your iPod.

You can track everything from:

  • The length of your Workouts
  • The distance of your runs, jogs or walks
  • The amount of Calories Burned
  • And much more

Once you complete a workout at the gym, treadmill or elliptical you can upload your workouts to your computer and begin tracking your progress.  This is a great way to help you stay motivated and keep pushing toward your fitness goals!

I have been using the Nike ID for well over 2 years now, and I love it.  They actually have a way to find your friends and create challenges like who can burn the most calories that week or who can run the most miles in a month.  It makes running on the treadmill go much faster and it’s much more rewarding to see how far I’ve come!
